Employees of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations in Sevastopol held regular sports competitions

Employees of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in Sevastopol constantly strengthen team spirit, improve physical fitness and cultivate the will to win by taking part in a variety of sports competitions. The next competition among personnel — in swimming — was held at the Sports and Fitness Complex named after the 200th anniversary of Sevastopol.
The participants completed individual swims at a distance of 100 meters, and also competed for leadership in the team relay. In total, the event brought together more than 40 employees of the emergency department. Based on the results of an intense struggle, the places were distributed as follows: in the first age category, the best was the representative of the 6th fire and rescue unit, Dmitry Shaporin; among swimmers of the second age category, Nikolai Amiryan from the 3rd part was in the lead; in the third age category, Sergei Kurtukov, head of the Crisis Management Center, came out ahead. The best result in the women’s swim was achieved by Marina Kolesnik, who competed for the 4th fire and rescue unit. Irina Litvinova won the veterans competition. In the team competition, the results are as follows: the 1st fire and rescue unit took bronze, the 4th unit took second place, and the absolute winner was the team of the department of supervisory activities and preventive work.
