Employees of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations will ensure the safety of Christmas night

On the night of January 6-7, Orthodox believers will gather together to celebrate one of the main holidays — the Nativity of Christ. At midnight, an All-Night Vigil will be held in all churches and cathedrals of Crimea. Thousands of believers will take part in it, whose safety will be ensured by specialists from the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations, employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and emergency response services.
In order for the festivities to take place safely, inspectors from the State Fire Inspectorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations carried out preventive visits in advance, during which compliance with fire safety requirements in all churches of the peninsula was checked.
Particular attention was paid to checking the functionality of the fire alarm system, the condition of the primary fire extinguishing equipment and the availability of emergency exits. The abbots and temple workers did not go unnoticed. They were given additional instructions on fire safety requirements and the algorithm of actions in the event of a fire.— reported the emergency department.
In addition to preventive measures, during the period of festive services, 24-hour duty of employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia will be organized at the most visited churches and temples.
