CrimeaPRESS reports:
To save lives.
On the Day of Military Glory of Russia, employees of the State Traffic Inspectorate of Sevastopol took part in a blood donation campaign.
On February 2, Russia celebrated the Day of Military Glory of Russia — the Day of the defeat of the Nazi group by Soviet troops in the Battle of Stalingrad in 1943. The Battle of Stalingrad became one of the largest battles during the Great Patriotic War and a turning point in the Second World War.
On the Day of Military Glory of Russia, employees of the State Traffic Inspectorate of Sevastopol took part in the campaign “Become a donor — save a life!” More than 30 traffic inspectors took part in the event to donate blood and its components for our military personnel — participants in a special military operation— reported the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the city of Sevastopol.
Among the participants of the action were those employees who donated blood for the first time, and those who were awarded the “Honorary Donor of Russia” badge. Thanks to traffic inspectors, the blood bank is replenished with valuable biomaterial, which is already prepared for transfusion.
Law enforcement officials know that donation is one of the most important and noble acts a person can do. It literally, without any exaggeration, saves lives. Becoming a donor means showing mercy and compassion, doing a good deed and leaving a mark on the lives of other people.,” the Sevastopol police emphasized.
The doctors expressed gratitude to the donors for their responsiveness, concern and support in the noble cause of saving the lives of defenders of the Fatherland.
