Employees of the State Traffic Inspectorate of Sevastopol conducted a preventive raid “Child seat”

During monitoring of social networks, employees of the State Traffic Inspectorate of Sevastopol identified a publication, the author of which reported violations of traffic rules near the educational institution “Engineering School”.
As part of the prevention of violations of traffic rules, the State Traffic Inspectorate conducted a “Children’s car seat” raid. The main goal of the event is to prevent road accidents involving child passengers and to prevent violations of traffic rules of the Russian Federation associated with violation of the rules for transporting children by road and identifying drivers who violate the rules for transporting children in a passenger car.
During the inspection, traffic inspectors checked cars approaching educational institutions. In addition to monitoring the proper transportation of young passengers, State Traffic Inspectorate employees explained to drivers the importance of using certified child restraints, their correct fastening in the car, and placing children in them, who must be fastened with the standard seat belts.— reported the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the city of Sevastopol.
During the two-hour raid, traffic inspectors compiled 5 administrative materials under Part 3 of Article 12.23 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation against drivers who transported children without child restraints, 9 administrative materials under Part 3 of Article 12.19 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation against drivers who violated the rules of stopping at a pedestrian crossing, conducted more than 48 conversations and consultations on the correct use of child restraints.
The State Traffic Inspectorate of Sevastopol urges parents to take a responsible approach to transporting children and not to violate traffic rules.
