CrimeaPRESS reports:
Employees of the departmental security unit of the «Crimean Railway» at the Mekenzievy Gory station identified three residents of the city of Sevastopol, while trying to steal profile sheets. Men, at night, stole a 9-meter profiled roofing sheet from the territory of the railway station and, using a special tool, cut it into smaller fragments that were convenient for transportation.
The employees of the investigative group of the Sevastopol linear police department who arrived at the scene established that the men intended to steal a much larger volume by opening the factory packaging of the profiled sheet. To this end, one of them observed the situation, and the other two were engaged in cutting. The attackers planned to take out the already cut roofing materials on a cargo van located nearby.— reported the press service of the Crimean LU of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia on transport.
The Investigation Department of the Crimean Linear Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for Transport initiated a criminal case against the detainees on the grounds of a crime under Part 3 of Art. 30, paragraph «a» part 2 of Art. 158 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation «Attempted theft by a group of persons by prior agreement.» Currently, the criminal case with the approved indictment has been sent to court for consideration on the merits.
