Employers in Crimea want employees to report dismissal a month in advance, not 2 weeks in advance
CrimeaPRESS reports:
The 2 weeks notice of dismissal required by law is currently not sufficient for employers. Most companies take at least a month to take over and find a replacement for the employee leaving the company. Representatives of companies from Crimea took part in the survey of the service for finding high-paying jobs SuperJob.
Employers are against quick dismissals: 77% of employers in Crimea want to know about an employee’s decision to leave the company in advance, and not at the time he submits an application of his own free will. In the vast majority of cases, a period of one month was specified,” noted the service’s press service.
The situation is understandable given the shortage of personnel: 80% of employers are experiencing a staff shortage. The most difficult positions in the labor market today are skilled workers, truck drivers, special transport drivers, general workers, and engineers.
Employers also expressed their wishes regarding the dismissal of management personnel: to find a replacement for such employees, it takes 1.5 months or more.
