Employers in the Crimea increasingly consider sports to be a personal matter of an employee
CrimeaPRESS reports:
Employers increasingly consider the sports hobbies of employees and job seekers to be their personal business, which does not affect efficiency. Representatives of enterprises and organizations from the Crimea took part in the survey of the SuperJob service for finding highly paid jobs.
Every second employer (51%) does not notice the difference between employees who go in for sports and those who are far from it: in their opinion, sports enthusiasts work no better or worse than others. 22% of companies believe that athletes work more productively than others. “They are used to discipline,” HR managers comment. Only 2% of organizations are sure that sports fans work worse: “First training camp, then injuries”— noted in the press service of the service.
As noted by 2 out of 3 employers (66%), the fact that the applicant is involved in sports will not affect his employment in their company. Good sports training is considered an advantage of a potential employee in 23% of organizations, a disadvantage — in only 1%.
What measures are employers taking to ensure that employees go in for sports? In 2 out of 3 companies — none: the business does not consider this its direct task. In 18% of organizations, sports events are periodically held, in every tenth organization free sports classes are organized for employees. 4% who fully or partially pay their employees for training. Physical education sessions during the day are held in 2% of organizations.
