On May 15, Sevastopol will start accepting applications for two grant competitions at once. The first will be open to small and medium-sized businesses that are included in the register of social entrepreneurs, as well as young entrepreneurs under the age of 25 inclusive. In the second — the competition «Easy start» — entrepreneurs under the age of 35 years. Grant support is provided within the framework of the national project «Small and Medium Enterprises».
Grant competitions help to involve young people in entrepreneurial activities. There are many enterprising, active people in our city who would like to start their own business. The grant can lay the foundation for a new difficult business and allow you to take the first steps in the right direction. This year, more than 20 million rubles were allocated for both grant competitions— Governor Mikhail Razvozhaev is quoted by the press service of the Government of Sevastopol.
Social and young entrepreneurs not older than 25 years old will be able to apply for grants ranging from 100 to 500 thousand rubles. As part of the Easy Start competition, the amount of support will be up to 300,000 rubles.
Grant funds can be spent on renting or repairing premises, purchasing necessary equipment, making payments under leasing agreements, and much more. At the same time, there are conditions — one of them is valid for two competitions at once. To receive a grant, entrepreneurs need to undergo free training at the My Business center. There, specialists will help you prepare applications for a grant and tell you more about running your own business.
There is a separate condition for the participants of the first competition — they need to invest at least 25% of their own funds from the total cost of the project.
