CrimeaPRESS reports:
The Kerch Interdistrict Environmental Prosecutor’s Office conducted an inspection of compliance with legal requirements in the implementation of aquaculture activities in the east of Crimea (on the territory of the Leninsky District and the city of Sudak).
It was established that fish farms, when carrying out activities in the water protection zone of the Black Sea, allowed the placement of soil dumps and littering of the farm territory with construction waste.
In addition, enterprises have not developed waste passports, do not keep records of waste, sources of emissions of pollutants into the atmosphere are not registered, and no payment has been made for the negative impact on the environment.— reported the prosecutor’s office.
Based on the facts of identified violations, the environmental prosecutor submitted 7 proposals to the heads of fish farms to eliminate violations of the law, the progress and results of which are under the control of the prosecutor’s office. Bringing the perpetrators to administrative responsibility has been initiated.
