Vitaly Denisov, Director of the Department of Healthcare, spoke about the situation with coronavirus, prevention and rehabilitation measures, the Zemsky Doctor program and the Young Health Organizer competition on the air of the Sevastopol Government group on the VKontakte social network.
First of all, I would like to thank our medical workers, who have been working under tremendous pressure for two years. We need to thank Mikhail Vladimirovich on my own behalf and on behalf of the entire medical community, thanks to whose decision, when we had a difficult situation with the number of beds, we built three infectious disease units. Thanks to this, we solved the problem with the bed fund, although the workload was colossal. Today, the situation is different: despite the fact that there was a rise after September 1, when the children went to school, today there are about a thousand people on outpatient treatment, and when we had the last outbreak — this is the end of December-January — we had an outpatient treatment was nine thousand people , — the press service of the Government of Sevastopol quotes the official.
The director of the Department of Health noted that now the cases of coronavirus are mild. Nevertheless, we must not forget about prevention: if necessary, wear masks, keep a distance, use disinfectants. Vitaly Denisov also urged the residents of Sevastopol not to forget about vaccination.
It is very important that citizens come to an in-depth medical examination — as part of the general medical examination, a separate block has been allocated for patients who have been ill with covid. We also managed to approve a rehabilitation program with the Ministry of Health, and this year for the first time in the city we opened a rehabilitation department for 60 beds, now the process of purchasing equipment for rehabilitation is underway, — says the director of the department .
During the broadcast, they also discussed the burden on the healthcare system and work to fill the shortage of personnel.
The main priority is the staffing of primary health care. These are district therapists, district pediatricians, general practitioners. We work with universities, hold online fairs, thanks to the governor, together with the Ministry of Health, we managed to adopt the Zemsky Doctor program so that it operates on our territory. The program provides for payments to doctors in the amount of one million rubles, to paramedics — 500 thousand rubles, so that they can settle down and start working , — said the head of the department.
Vitaly Denisov stressed that, on behalf of the governor, support measures for medical workers are in place in the region: social benefits, additional payments to young doctors, doctors in popular specialties, compensation for rental housing. A competition is also held to search for initiative personnel and support their initiatives.
In order to have access to medical care, the administration must find solutions to problems. This requires people who are able to make non-standard, non-standard decisions. For this purpose, the Young Organizer of Healthcare competition was created — it was my personal initiative last year. It is important to notice an initiative person, time requires quick, non-standard solutions. Both specialists of private clinics and students can participate. We will hold the competition in November of this year, I invite everyone to participate, — said Vitaly Denisov.
