Even more families with many children will be able to receive a monthly payment in Sevastopol

CrimeaPRESS reports:

The government of Sevastopol has adopted a resolution that will allow more families with many children to apply for a monthly allowance. Now families in which the eldest child is already an adult can also apply for a payment of up to three years for a third or subsequent child. Previously, the allowance could be issued only if the age of older children did not exceed 18 years, and in the case of their education on the budget — 23 years.

Now, by a court decision, this provision has been declared invalid, and if a child is born in a family and there are even adult children, then this family is recognized as having many children, and payment is made for the third and subsequent child. The department took the necessary measures in agreement with the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation , — the press service of the Government of Sevastopol quotes the director of the Department of Labor and Social Protection of the Population Elena Sulyagina.

According to the official, the department had previously taken the initiative to adopt these norms. It also simplifies the payment process. Now the department will request most of the necessary information for grant assignment as part of interdepartmental interaction.

Recall that the application for payment is accepted by the social security authorities, branches of the MFC, it can also be issued through the portal of public services. The amount of the allowance for the third and subsequent children in the 2022 year is 14 665 rubles. Today in Sevastopol 1 243 families receive the payment.
