Evening accident in Sevastopol: five injured

On the evening of July 18 (at 22:00) in Sevastopol, on Vakulenchuk Street, an accident occurred in which 5 people were injured.

A 20-year-old driver of a Daewoo Nexia car, moving along Vakulenchuk Street near house No. 53, did not provide an advantage in traffic when turning left and collided with a Skoda Octavia car driven by a 45-year-old driver who was moving in the opposite direction, along your lane. As a result of a road accident, 5 people received injuries of varying severity: the driver and three passengers of the Daewoo Nexia car — girls of 17, 18, 20 years old and one passenger of the Skoda Octavia car — a 34-year-old woman who were taken to a medical facility. Drivers showed no signs of intoxication.— reported in the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the city of Sevastopol.

On the fact of an accident, the 20-year-old driver of the Daewoo Nexia was brought to administrative responsibility under part 2 of article 12.13 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation “Violation of the rules for crossing intersections”, part 1 of Art. 12.37 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation “Failure to comply with the requirements for compulsory insurance of civil liability of vehicle owners”, part 2 of article 12.24 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation “Violation of the Rules of the road or the rules for operating a vehicle that caused minor or moderate harm to the health of the victim.” The traffic police officers are checking the fact of the traffic accident.
