Yesterday evening (at 20:00) an accident occurred in Sevastopol involving two cars. As the traffic police clarified, the accident occurred at the intersection of Ivan Golubets and Lev Tolstoy streets.
The driver of a Hyundai Sonata was making a left turn at the intersection towards Ivan Golubets Street when the traffic light was green, but did not give way to a Hyundai Tucson driven by a 24-year-old driver who was moving along Lev Tolstoy Street straight in the opposite direction. After the collision, the crossover hit a barrier. There were no injuries as a result of the accident, no signs of intoxication were detected among the drivers— reported the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the city of Sevastopol.
Employees of the State Traffic Inspectorate are conducting an investigation into the traffic accident.
