Evening accident in Simferopol: teenager hit by car

The State Traffic Safety Inspectorate is establishing the circumstances of a traffic accident in Simferopol in which a minor pedestrian was injured. The collision occurred the previous evening (at 20:00) on Kievskaya Street in the Crimean capital.
The driver, born in 1960, driving a Toyota Platz, moving along Kievskaya Street from Tolstoho Street in the direction of Kechkemetskaya Street, hit a minor pedestrian, born in 2008, who was crossing the roadway in an undesignated place for crossing, from left to right in the direction of the car’s movement in the visibility zone of a regulated pedestrian crossing. As a result of the traffic accident, the minor received bodily injuries and was taken to a medical facility.— the State Traffic Safety Inspectorate reported.
An investigation is being conducted, the progress of which is being monitored by the prosecutor’s office.
