Evening accident on the Simferopol — Nikolaevka highway: the culprit of the accident in the hospital, the second driver died

Employees of the State Traffic Inspectorate of the Simferopol region are establishing the circumstances of a fatal accident on the Simferopol — Nikolaevka highway. The accident that claimed the life of a person occurred late the night before, at 10:45 p.m.

The driver, born in 1987, driving a Mazda car, moving from the city of Simferopol in the direction of the village of Nikolaevka, entered the lane intended for oncoming traffic, where he collided with a Daewoo Nexia car driven by the driver, born in 1982. As a result of a traffic accident, the 42-year-old driver of the Daewoo Nexia was fatally injured. Passengers of the Daewoo Nexia car — 35 and 3 years old, as well as the driver of the Mazda car were injured— reported the traffic police.

An inspection is underway. All circumstances of the incident are being clarified.
