Evening fire in the Feodosia village of Beregovoe — rescuers prevented the explosion of gas cylinders

The night before, at 18:28, a fire alarm in the village of Beregovoye (the city district of Feodosia) was received on the control panel of the operational duty emergency department. Employees of the State Institution of the Republic of Crimea «Fire Guard of the Republic of Crimea» consisting of 7 people and the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for the Republic of Crimea were sent to the scene.

Upon arrival, it became known that a utility building was on fire on the territory of a private household. There is a threat of the fire spreading to the residential building. The firefighters, having reconnoitered the premises and found 2 cylinders there, promptly evacuated them to a safe place. At the same time, employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations laid hose lines and began to extinguish the fire. Within 1 hour the fire was localized and liquidated. Its area was 20 square meters— reported in the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Crimea.

Thanks to the prompt and well-coordinated work of firefighters, it was possible to avoid the further spread of fire. There were no casualties. The cause of the fire is under investigation by experts.
