Evening incident on the Livadia – Simeiz highway: a retaining wall collapsed

A retaining wall collapsed on the South Coast. It happened on the evening of January 10 on the Livadia – Simeiz highway.
During a detour of highways in the municipality of the Yalta urban district, on the section of the Livadia — Simeiz highway, km 15+050, a partial collapse of the upper embankment of the retaining wall was revealed. Corresponding instructions have been given to road services, said Minister of Transport of the Republic of Crimea Nikolai Lukashenkoillustrating what was said with photographs from the scene of the incident.
Within several hours, employees of the State Unitary Enterprise of the Republic of Crimea “Krymavtodor” quickly eliminated the consequences of the collapse, ensuring transport passage. The site of the collapse is marked with an emergency sign.
Let us note that snowfalls are expected in Crimea in the next two days; it is possible that the collapsed retaining wall will “creep” further.
