Evening rescue operation: a group of tourists got lost in the mountains of Crimea

Crimean rescuers provided assistance to a group of tourists who got lost in the area of Mount Sedam-Kaya (Bakhchisarai district, near the village of Sokolinoe).
Yesterday at 19:40, the rescue service received a message that a group of tourists of 9 people, taking a walk through the forest in the area of Mount Sedam-Kaya, due to incorrect construction of the route by the navigator, strayed from the path and entered a difficult area of the terrain. They cannot continue moving on their own. Rescuers’ help is needed in their search and evacuation.— said the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Crimea.
Employees of the Bakhchisarai emergency rescue team “CRIMEA-SPAS” and the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for the Republic of Crimea were sent to the search and rescue area. Upon arrival, rescuers began searching. Within half an hour, the tourists were discovered in a difficult mountainous area. Rescuers escorted people along a difficult mountain road to a service vehicle and took them to the village of Sokolinoe. They did not need medical care.
