Evening rescue operation at Cape Meganom

On July 29, at 20:40, the Crisis Management Center received a message that in the area of Yogov Bay, Cape Meganom, a woman had injured her leg and could not move independently. Rescue assistance was needed.
The Crisis Management Center organized an immediate response of the mountain search and rescue unit of the Specialized Squad of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for the Republic of Crimea together with the staff of the Sudak emergency rescue squad «KRYM-SPAS».
Before the rescuers arrived, the tourist was transported to Kapsel Bay by boat. Upon arrival, the employees of the State Institution of the Republic of Crimea «Krym-SPAS» provided her with first aid: they applied a tight bandage to fix the injured finger, and also stopped the bleeding with ice. After the ambulance arrived, they handed her over to the medical workers— the emergency department said.
