The Government of Sevastopol hosted a meeting of the organizing committee chaired by Governor Mikhail Razvozhaev. Members of the organizing committee discussed the events that are already being held and will be held throughout the year as part of the Year of the Family in the Hero City.
Let us recall that the Government of the Russian Federation has approved a Plan of main events for holding the Year of the Family in the Russian Federation, including measures to improve the situation of families with children, protect the health of citizens of reproductive age, cultural, sports, social events, measures to strengthen responsible parenthood, to strengthen children and youth family values.
The plan of main events for holding the Year of the Family in the city of Sevastopol in 2024 includes 172 main events, in the implementation of which 13 executive bodies of the city of Sevastopol, 25 subordinate organizations, the Department of the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation for Sevastopol, the Commissioner for Children’s Rights Marina Peschanskaya take part Leonidovna, municipalities, 13 public and non-profit organizations, PJSC Promsvyazbank, etc.
Colleagues, I set the task that all these events should not be a formality “for the sake of reporting.” I ask all of you to think about how to make this year truly useful, bright and unforgettable for our Sevastopol families. These could be family city-wide relay races, sporting events in which the whole family can participate, and much more. At the Galina Prozumenshchikova Aquatic Sports Palace and at the Inkerman Sports and Fitness Center, for example, on my instructions, family subscriptions have already been made. We also need other formats of events in which mothers, fathers, and children can participate,” the press service of the Government of Sevastopol quotes Governor Mikhail Razvozhaev.
On behalf of the governor, public organizations will be invited to the next meeting of the organizing committee to discuss their ideas and proposals for events within the Year of the Family.
