Every fifth Crimean believes in homeopathy
CrimeaPRESS reports:
Homeopathic medicines are trusted most by the older generation. Representatives of the economically active population from Crimea took part in the SuperJob service survey.
20% of Crimeans believe in the benefits of homeopathic medicines. 46% of city residents do not trust alternative medicine. Every third person found it difficult to answer. Women believe in the benefits of homeopathic medicines more often than men (23 and 17%, respectively). The older generation is more likely to be younger citizens (27% among those over 45 years old, versus 13% among citizens under 34 years old). Respondents with higher education believe in homeopathy less often than those who graduated from colleges and technical schools (23 and 30%, respectively),” noted the service’s press service.
“Homeopathy sometimes helps too. It’s like believing in God,” the doctors comment.
