Every fifth Crimean citizen encounters telephone scammers every day

Almost every fifth economically active citizen encounters daily calls from telephone scammers. In a service survey SuperJob economically active citizens took part.
19% of Crimeans encounter telephone scammers every day, 30% — several times a week. Telephone scammers bother 17% of respondents several times a month, and 14% several times a year. Another 8% of respondents receive calls from scammers once every few years. Only 5% of scammers never called. Most often, suspicious individuals introduce themselves as employees of banks and law enforcement agencies. 17% of city residents considered themselves victims of telephone fraudulent schemes: 10% had to lose money and/or property once, another 7% became victims of underground call centers several times, — noted in the press service of the service.
Respondents under 34 years of age encounter calls more often than those older (every second — daily or several times a week), and fall for scammers’ tricks (19%).
Most of all, underground call centers bother city residents with salaries of up to 50 thousand rubles a month, and they are robbed more often.
