Every fifth Crimean knows about the digital ruble, every fourth knows nothing yet

So far, only every fifth Crimean knows in detail about the digital ruble, and every fourth heard about the new type of Russian currency from us for the first time. In a survey by a service for finding high-paying jobs Superjob.ru Representatives of the economically active population of the city took part.
The digital ruble is an electronic currency that is currently being developed by the Central Bank. According to the regulator, it will be introduced en masse in 2025, after the completion of the pilot project. This is the third form of national currency, along with cash and non-cash rubles, which is absolutely legal means of payment in Russia. Currently, only 19% know in detail about the new type of Russian currency, another 55% have heard something. Every fourth person learned about the digital ruble for the first time. Men are more informed about the digital ruble: 23% of them say that they know all the characteristics of the new means of payment, and among women, only 15% do.— the service’s press service notes.
Crimeans with incomes of 100 thousand rubles or more are more likely than those who earn less to know about the digital ruble in detail. Also, older citizens (45 years and older) understood the nuances better than others.
