Every fourth resident of Crimea regrets taking out a loan

In the service survey SuperJob Representatives of the economically active population from Crimea took part.
According to the survey data, over the past year, Crimeans most often took out consumer loans to buy a car or motorcycle, 14% of respondents said so. In second place in popularity is a loan for apartment or house renovation (11% of respondents). In third place are loans for the purchase of educational courses and smartphones (10% each). Respondents also said that they took out a loan to pay for medical services (7%), purchase household appliances, real estate, construction or vacation (5% each). 3% of respondents took out a loan to buy clothes and furniture. Among other purposes for borrowing, city residents named organizing special events, opening a business, as well as getting children ready for school and buying sports equipment.— the service’s press service notes.
Men more often took out loans to buy cars, renovate apartments, and buy smartphones, while women took out loans for educational courses, medical services (including beauty services), and vacations.
Every fourth city dweller (24%) regrets taking out a consumer loan from a bank. Every second respondent (53%) is convinced that the purchase made on credit was justified. Men are more confident in their financial decisions than women: they are less likely to regret their decision to take out a loan.
Most often, city residents regret the decision to take out a loan to pay for courses (30%) and repairs (28%).
