Every fourth working Crimean does not dare ask for a salary increase
CrimeaPRESS reports:
People often hesitate to ask for a salary increase because they do not believe in the possibility of an increase. In a service survey SuperJob Employed representatives of the economically active population from Crimea took part.
Only 6% of Crimeans believe that their salary corresponds to their skill level. 83% are confident that they deserve more: 23% are currently negotiating a salary increase, 34% are preparing to ask for an increase, 26% are undecided.
«Useless. They won’t raise it anyway,” is the main argument of the townspeople who do not dare negotiate for an increase. State employees say that they are not asking for a salary increase because… their sphere is strictly regulated by tariff rates. Some people find it easier to find a new job than to ask for something,” noted the service’s press service.
Those who earn more are the most decisive in matters of wages. Among respondents with a salary of 100 thousand rubles per month, there are more of those who have already initiated negotiations on increasing their earnings, and of those who are currently preparing for them.
