Every second Crimean citizen used the opportunity to receive a tax deduction

In a service survey SuperJob Representatives of the economically active population from Crimea took part.
Most Crimeans know about the possibility of obtaining a tax deduction for payment for medical and educational services, investment activities, purchase of real estate, etc.: every second person has at least once filed a tax return for a tax refund, every third person knows about this opportunity, but does not take advantage of it for various reasons. Only 18% of respondents said that they were hearing about the tax deduction for the first time. Women are more knowledgeable about financial matters than men and are more likely to have experience returning taxes paid to the treasury.,” noted the service’s press service.
The number of city residents who are aware of the possibility of obtaining a tax deduction and have the skills to file a tax return grows with the age and income level of the respondents.
6 out of 10 citizens who applied for a tax deduction filled out documents for the Federal Tax Service on their own. Every fifth — with the help of financial advisors, every ninth — with the help of friends and relatives.
Those who have never filed a tax return rate the difficulty of filling out a tax return as 3.9 points out of 5, and those who have filed it as only 2.5 points.
