Every second Crimean dreams of a four-day stay
CrimeaPRESS reports:
The idea of switching to a 4-day working week is supported by 1 in 2 citizens. In a service survey SuperJob economically active citizens took part.
Every second Crimean citizen supports the introduction of a 4-day working week. Opponents of such a work schedule among city residents are 29%; they are most concerned about the issue of wages: “With a four-day week, we will get paid for four days, but work for seven.” 7 out of 10 respondents working on a 5-day work week will be able to complete the full scope of their work tasks on a four-day week: “This is possible with a schedule of more than 8 hours a day”,” noted the service’s press service.
Most often, respondents under 34 years of age (60%) were in favor of reducing the number of working days. They more often assured that they would cope with the work in a shortened week.
Every third city dweller over 45 is against a short working week. Mature specialists more often than others spoke about their inability to solve all their problems in 4 working days.
With the introduction of a 4-day working week, 26% of respondents will spend the free day on family and children, 20% on vacation, and 16% on part-time work. 12% of respondents will do household chores on their free day, 11% will do self-education. 8% will spend another day off on personal matters. 5% will devote their free day to active recreation, hobbies, sports or walks.
