Every second Crimean is not afraid of artificial intelligence

CrimeaPRESS reports:

In a service survey SuperJob Representatives of the economically active population participated.

Every second Crimean is not afraid of artificial intelligence. Only every ninth person has concerns and fears. 35% of respondents found it difficult to answer.

There are more men who are not afraid of artificial intelligence: 58% versus 49% among women. City dwellers under 34 years of age are least susceptible to technophobia. The higher the income level of respondents, the less often they reported concerns about neural networks. Among representatives of common professional groups, system administrators (20%) were slightly more likely than others to share concerns about the development of artificial intelligence: they are especially concerned about the protection of information and personal data. Lawyers are afraid of increased fraud; they also remind that the development of neural networks is not yet regulated by law (17%). Secretaries talk about the soullessness of machines (15%). Chief accountants (13%) and line accountants (13%) are concerned about the prospects of total automation and job loss. Security guards (10%) predict a cyber apocalypse,” noted the service’s press service.

But every second logistician believes that the introduction of artificial intelligence can reduce the number of emergency situations in the transport industry. Despite regular reports of tests of unmanned vehicles, drivers are practically not afraid of the development of artificial intelligence, and if necessary, they are ready to retrain as operators of unmanned vehicles.

Most marketers and designers follow the development of neural networks with interest and are already using them in their work: “I use them for non-standard and operational solutions, as well as when processing large amounts of information”; “I view AI as new opportunities and from the perspective of additional tools.”

Neural networks are the least likely to scare their creators—programmers: “This is an excellent technology, not a replacement!”; “AI is still controlled by people”; “The topic is exaggerated by the media. There is nothing to be afraid of — all progress is for the better.”
