Every second Crimean supports the idea to allow minors to work on weekends during the holidays

In a service survey Superjob Representatives of the economically active population and employers from Crimea took part.

The State Duma adopted a bill allowing employers involve teenagers to work during the summer holidays 14-17 years. Previously, this was possible only in creative professions. The law will enter into force on September 1, 2025.

How do residents of Crimea relate to this initiative? 56% of respondents supported the bill: “I think this is right. Because minors are just the same will be willing to accept those companies that work without days off, for example, cafes and entertainment centers. ”

Every fourth (24%) opposed: “This is a big load for a fragile organism. They will abuse and work all summer without rest in order to earn more. ”

The most active bill was supported by young people under 35 years old: among them, the approval level reached 58%, while among citizens over 45 — 48%. The level of support for the initiative of parliamentarians among parents of adolescents is higher: 64% of them approve of innovations in the Labor Code of the Russian Federation.

Today, 12% of companies are already hired by adolescents, another 6% offer internships for schoolchildren and students under the age of 18. Positive dynamics is evident: Two years ago Only 4% of organizations were ready to employ minors, only 1 out of 10 employers took for internships.

Interest in employment among minors is also growing. So, over the past year, the number of minors in Russia increased by 13-15%. The root cause is demographic, the number of youth in the labor market begins to grow. However, the number of vacancies for adolescents, according to Superjob, has not changed much yet (+7% per year in the whole Russian Federation) — strict state labor protection requirements remain a serious restriction for employers.

Superjob analyzed the responses of employers on the resume of applicants for 14-17 years and determined the TOP-5 professions, which most often considered minor applicants over the past month, and also determined the top 5 positions on incomplete employment, most demanded by minor applicants (14-17 years) in March 2025 (in the order Russia as a whole):
