Every third Crimean wanted to become a teacher
CrimeaPRESS reports:
“I never dreamed of it,” 3 out of 10 teachers admitted that neither in childhood nor in their youth did they think about a career in teaching. Representatives of the economically active population from Crimea took part in the survey of the service for finding high-paying jobs SuperJob.
Every third Crimean thought about becoming a teacher: 21% dreamed about it in childhood, 14% already in adulthood. The pedagogical path is closer to women: a total of 45% of Crimean women and only 26% of men dreamed of working in a school. It is natural that among representatives of common professional groups, those who now work as educators and teachers most often dreamed of a career in education already at a conscious age (45 and 40%, respectively). They realized their dream and found their calling. But 32% of teachers said that neither in childhood nor in adolescence did they think about working at school, but fate led them to teaching— noted in the press service of the service.
The top 5 professions whose representatives seriously thought about becoming a teacher included HR managers (28%), designers (21%) and marketers (20%).
Less often than others in their youth, analysts (5%), system administrators (7%) and programmers (8%) dreamed of becoming teachers.
