Everything is according to plan: this year over 260 km of roads have been repaired in Crimea

More than 260 km of roads were repaired in Crimea under the national project “Safe Quality Roads” in 2023. All planned indicators have been achieved, the Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Crimea emphasized. The total amount of funds allocated for the implementation of the national project this year amounted to 8,789.38 million rubles.
A large amount of work was completed in 2023 to repair bridge structures — work was carried out at 24 sites. The length of artificial structures brought to standard condition on highways of regional or intermunicipal and local significance is more than 866 linear meters— reported the Republican Ministry of Transport.
One of the implemented large socially significant projects was the repair of the public highway of regional significance «Tavrida — Dzhankoy — Krasnoperekopsk (Dzhankoy — Voinka)», with a total length of 30.65 km.
This section is part of the backbone network of the Republic of Crimea and the Azov-Black Sea Ring. It has great social significance, since it will ensure the safety and comfort of road transport for residents and guests of the region and uninterrupted communication between various settlements of the Dzhankoy and Krasnoperekopsk districts,” the Ministry of Transport clarified.
Another significant project is the repair of the public highway of regional importance “Krasnogvardeyskoye – Nizhnegorsky” with a length of 18 km. The highway passes through the territory of several rural settlements for transport links with regional centers.
Over the entire period of implementation of the national project “Safe Quality Roads” since 2019, more than 95 sections of regional roads with a length of 801.154 km have been repaired in the Republic of Crimea (which is 13% of the entire highway network).
