Evpatoria does not intend to charge for water due to its absence during the accident

The state enterprise «Water of Crimea» will not charge for water from subscribers who do not have meters installed, and will reduce the fee by 15% for those who have them, due to the lack of water during the accident on the water pipeline near Evpatoria, the company reports in his Telegram channel.

Let us remind you that with From May 18 to May 25, Evpatoria and the villages of Mirnoye, Novoozernoye, Zaozernoye remained without water due to work on the main water pipeline near Evpatoria. During the repairs, water was released through an old pipe, which could not withstand it — multiple bursts occurred. Residents were supplied with drinking water according to schedule.

For the entire period of lack of water from May 18 to May 25, the fee for the consumed resource will be automatically reduced. For subscribers who make calculations based on meter readings, the service fee will be reduced by 15 percent for the month of May. For subscribers making payments for services according to the standard, the fee will not be charged for the specified periodthe message says.

The company apologized for the inconvenience caused and thanked residents for timely payment for the services consumed.

Earlier, the head of the Republic of Crimea, Sergei Aksenov, promised to solve the problem of water outages in Yevpatoria by the end of 2024 by replacing 21 km of the main water pipeline.
