Evpatoria will take part in the federal project “Five Seas”, implemented under the auspices of the President

As the Head of the Republic of Crimea Sergei Aksyonov announced today, Evpatoria is planned to participate in the federal project “Five Seas and Lake Baikal”. The project is being implemented under the auspices of Russian President Vladimir Putin. As Sergei Aksyonov clarified, it is expected that the Evpatoria beach and coastal zone with a length of about 11.7 km will be completely reconstructed and improved at the expense of investors and with the support of the federal center.
Aksyonov assessed the level of organization of sanitary cleaning and cleaning in the city, the activities of the road infrastructure, and also talked with Evpatoria residents.
It is important to increase the efficiency of local authorities, clearly plan and competently organize their work, and determine the necessary algorithms and tools. Restoring order in Evpatoria will be under constant control — we will prepare the city for the start of the tourist season in fullsaid the Head of Crimea.
Sergei Aksyonov inspected the progress of work on the improvement of the Lazurnaya embankment and ordered to bring the adjacent territory into proper sanitary condition and remove the accumulated garbage.
Currently, utility networks are being laid in Evpatoria. According to the Head of Crimea, contractors are completing work, after which it is planned to reconstruct a number of roads. In addition, about 100 million rubles will be allocated for sidewalk repairs. We are primarily talking about passages to beach areas and leisure facilities.
Next, Sergei Aksyonov visited the Sputnik-2 and Ismail-Bey microdistricts. From April 1, work will begin on grading and filling the road network with crushed stone. The process must be completed by May 15. At the same time, the roads of the Sputnik-1 microdistrict will be put in order.
In addition, the Head of the Republic visited the municipal unitary enterprise “Ekograd” of the Evpatoria urban district, which deals with waste disposal. The company operates 21 units of equipment. According to the Minister of Housing and Communal Services of the Republic of Crimea Sergei Donets, this amount is not enough. Sergey Aksyonov noted the need to explore possible options for leasing cars.
The head of the Republic of Crimea drew the attention of the city leadership to the lack of a public transport schedule at stops and ordered to correct the situation as soon as possible.
