Ex-head of Krasnoperekopsk and his deputy will be against the court on charges of corruption

The Directorate for the Investigation of the Particularly important establishes that in 2020, municipal contracts for the improvement of public territories of the city of Krasnoperekopsk in the amount of over 89 million rubles were concluded between the administration and the commercial organization.

The head of the city, acting at that time, entrusted his first deputy, overseeing the scope of construction and improvement, to indicate the director of this company to transfer money to him in the amount of 1,520,000 rubles for the acceptance of work without comments, the timely transfer of budget funds to the calculation account of the contractor and the general patronage, expressing in the possibility of concluding subsequent municipal contracts with a commercial. organization. And at the funds received, the official instructed him to purchase a car for him, which was later done. Subsequently, the head ordered the car at his own discretion, registering it for a relative-voiced the details of the case in the press service of the department.

The corruption actions of the leadership of the city of Krasnoperekopsk were identified during operational work by employees of the Federal Security Service of Russia in the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol.

The defendants pleaded guilty to the crimes committed, arrested for a bribe — a car.

The criminal investigation has been completed. It is sent to the court for consideration on the merits.
