The demand for tutors in the Unified State Exam and Unified State Exam subjects increased almost one and a half times at the beginning of 2024. This is stated in a study by AVITO analysts. The key findings are:
— This January, the demand for tutors in school disciplines, which are included in the list of subjects for the Unified State Examination and Unified State Examination, except foreign languages, increased by 42% in Russia as a whole. At the same time, the number of offers from tutors on the platform increased by 32% year on year.
— Mathematics remains the most popular among all school disciplines, and interest in tutors in the subject has increased by 63% year on year. Schoolchildren from Saratov (demand has tripled over the year — +203%), Kaliningrad (+107%), Sochi (+104%) and Tyumen (+98%) began preparing the most actively for the Unified State Exam and Unified State Examination in mathematics this year.
— Foreign languages, other than English, are not the most popular among subjects on the Unified State Examination and the Unified State Examination. Nevertheless, interest in the services of tutors in French doubled (+49%) over the year, in German and Spanish — by 20% and 14%, respectively.
— English is one of the top 3 most popular Unified State Examinations and Unified State Examinations. The demand for English language tutors increased by 24% over the year, and the number of tutors on the platform increased by 60%.
— Among additional subjects, in addition to English, the highest demand is in the natural sciences and technical disciplines: chemistry, physics, computer science and biology. At the same time, in percentage terms, interest in the services of tutors in chemistry (+61%), social studies (+58%), as well as geography, literature and computer science (+56% in each subject) increased the most.
