Exercises of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in Bakhchisarai: firefighters conducted training on rescuing people from fire

In Bakhchisaray, on the territory of the gymnasium named after. N.R. Andreeva underwent fire-tactical exercises of the Ministry of Emergency Situations. According to a tactical plan, a short circuit occurred in the sound equipment in the assembly hall, which led to a fire on the stage. Having discovered the smoke, the institution’s staff called 101.

The dispatcher, who received the alarm call, promptly transmitted information about the conditional incident to all life support services of the city.

The first to arrive at the simulated incident were crews from Fire and Rescue Unit 7. The fire fighters acted clearly and harmoniously. Thanks to this, a simulated fire with an area of ​​more than 70 square meters was eliminated in less than an hour. Simultaneously with extinguishing the “fire,” the gas and smoke protection service carried out reconnaissance. They discovered and evacuated a gymnasium employee in a smoke-filled corridor on the 3rd floor.— reported the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for the Republic of Crimea.

Nine pieces of equipment and 35 personnel were involved in extinguishing the mock fire.
