Expert: The price of rest in Crimea is 20% lower than the resorts of the Krasnodar Territory and Abkhazia

Active demand for vacation in Crimea is heated by affordable prices. They are 20% lower than in hotels in the Krasnodar Territory and Abkhazia. This was stated by the Minister of Resorts and Tourism of the Republic Sergey Hanziy on the air Radio «Satellite in the Crimea».

According to him, it is possible to maintain such pricing thanks to the rich experience of hoteliers and business in Crimea.

He is really unique in 11 years, because during this period there were many different factors. This is the change of transport logistics in the republic, and the opening of the Crimean bridge, the airport, all this, of course, significantly influenced, including, the pricing— explains Hansy.

He added that today the restrictions on logistics are preserved, but in Crimea they are actively taking measures to resolve the situation. He recalled that by the beginning of the holiday season they will increase the capacity of the Crimean bridge, due to which the waiting time at the inspection points should be reduced to an hour. In addition, you can get to the region by train and through historical regions.

Infrastructure develops very actively through historical regions. There are roads with an excellent condition of the roadway, a modern roadside infrastructure appears, ”the Minister of Resorts emphasizes.

The tourist flow through these territories grew by 5% and accounts for 11% about the total number of entering Crimea. And the ministry predicts that this is only the beginning. After all, the region is included in the top 5 internal directions of tourism among Russians. The leading area is traditionally the South Coast.

We see the dynamics not only by forecast indicators, but also in official statistics for the first quarter of 2025. Now, if you look at the first three months, then we have an increase in tourist flow by 10% — 570 thousand people rested during this period— says Hanziy.

Rest reservation in Crimea is already spreading until October. According to the ministry, the indicators exceed last year by 30-35%.
