On average in Russia, apartments up to 20 sq. m cost 2.7 million rubles, but in a number of regional centers such objects can be bought for 1 million rubles or a little more*. In Ulyanovsk, the average price for compact apartments is 960 thousand rubles, in Izhevsk and Kirov — 1.1 million rubles, in Ryazan — 1.2 million rubles, in Omsk and Krasnoyarsk — 1.4 million rubles. The most expensive objects up to 20 sq. m — in Sochi (4.8 million rubles), Moscow and St. Petersburg. In two capitals, they can be bought for an average of 4 million rubles. During the year, prices for compact apartments decreased in 4 of the 25 cities participating in the study.

Analysts of Avito Nedvizhimost also determined how many average salaries will be needed to buy compact apartments in different cities of the country. The fastest way to save up for housing of this format is in Krasnoyarsk (17 average salaries), Tyumen (18 salaries), Ulyanovsk (20 salaries) and Izhevsk (22 salaries).

If a potential home buyer wants to move to another region, then in some cases he will be able to purchase an apartment faster. For example, a resident of the Chukotka Autonomous Okrug to buy an apartment up to 20 square meters. m in the secondary market of Ulyanovsk will need less than 6 monthly salaries (the average salary in the region is 166 thousand rubles , and 13 salaries will be enough to buy an object in warm Krasnodar. This region ranks first after Moscow and St. Petersburg in terms of the number of search queries on the platform.

Residents of the Khanty-Mansiysk and Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug, who are most often looking for apartments outside their regions, for compact housing in Tyumen (the most popular request among residents of these Autonomous Okrug) will need 18 and 16 monthly salaries, respectively.
