On the afternoon of Sunday, October 2, in Sevastopol, on General Ostryakov Avenue, a sharp “pop” sounded. The reason for the loud sound was … a lightning strike on the roof of one of the buildings located next to the Moskovsky shopping center. This was announced in his Telegram-channel by the Governor of Sevastopol Mikhail Razvozhaev.
In the office building next to the shopping center «Moskovsky» (in the former building of the House of Public Services) there was a clap. The building is not gasified. According to the preliminary version of the rescuers, lightning struck the roof. Because of this, glass in the windows was broken in some rooms , — Razvozhaev wrote.
There was no fire, he said, and no one was injured. The Ministry of Emergency Situations is currently on site.
It is interesting that the sound from the explosion-“pop” (lightning strike?) was so loud that it was heard in different parts of the city (about 15 hours).
