Explosion in Feodosia – criminal case initiated

Since yesterday evening in place explosion in Feodosia investigators and forensic experts work. The owner of the vehicle is being established, a number of versions of what happened are being worked out. The issue of initiating a criminal case is being resolved. The Sledkom also reported two injured women, they are in the hospital, nothing threatens their life and health.

On behalf of the head of the Main Investigation Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol, Vladimir Terentyev, investigators from the Department for Investigation of Particularly Important Cases went to help their Feodosia colleagues in order to establish all the circumstances— noted in the regional department of the Sledkom.

According to information Telegram channel Baza, a criminal case has been initiated, moreover, under the article on the attempted murder of two or more people. According to Baza’s sources, the explosion occurred as a result of the detonation of a shellless explosive device without damaging elements.

The bomb was planted in the trunk of a moped. Previously, its weight was about 400 grams in TNT equivalent. The explosion in the courtyard of the house on Zemskaya Street occurred at about 19 pm — the moped was parked between the entrances. Three people were injured: an 85-year-old pensioner, a 61-year-old woman and a 25-year-old girl. They were taken to the city hospital with cut and shrapnel wounds. Nearly 100 windows shattered due to explosion— writes the publication.
