«Extreme Crimea» invites you to take part in the competition «Sculpture Park at Sea 2.0»

Park «Extreme Crimea» announced the acceptance of applications for participation in the competition of art objects «Sculpture Park at Sea 2.0». According to Tourist portal of Crimea, you can submit your project until April 22. The winning work will decorate the beach space at Cape Tarkhankut.
Sculptors, architects, designers and artists aged 16 to 35 are invited to contribute to the development of the new beach space on Tarkhankut. Exclusively citizens of Russia. Those who have time to send an application with a sketch of their art object before April 22 have a chance to realize their planned installation on the picturesque Karadzhinskaya Spit in the village of Olenevka in the northwestern part of the peninsula. The competition of art objects “Sculpture Park on the Sea 2.0” was announced by “Extreme Crimea”.
Works made using any technique and from any materials are allowed to participate, provided they are resistant to the climatic conditions of the location. You can find out more about the competition rules Here.
Contestants must send their applications for the competition, including a sketch and estimate for the production of the installation, to the email address: extremecrimearu@mail.ru. In the subject line of the letter you must indicate “Application for participation in the competition “Sculpture Park by the Sea 2.0”.
The results of the first stage of the creative competition will be known on April 30, 2024. 5 people will reach the finals. Afterwards, participants will be able to begin implementing their projects. In the second stage, the creators will meet with members of the jury, lectures and master classes from mentors are planned for all those who submitted applications to the competition. Then the “exhibition season” of all five embodied works will open, and visitors to the Sculpture Park will be able to vote for the best of them. The results of the competition will be summed up in the finalsaid the organizers.
More than 300 thousand rubles will be allocated for the creation of art objects. These are grant funds from the State Committee for Youth Policy of the Republic of Crimea. The works will remain on the territory of the Sculpture Park with all copyrights of the contestants retained.
