Fake documents are a crime. Incident in Sevastopol

Employees of the Department of Inquiry of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Nakhimovsky District in Sevastopol initiated a criminal case against a local resident on the grounds of a crime under Part 5 of Art. Criminal Code of the Russian Federation «Forgery, production or circulation of forged documents, state awards, stamps, seals or letterheads»

It has been previously established that a -year-old woman, on the advice of a casual acquaintance, acquired a fake certificate in the shadow segment of the Internet stay. With this false migration document, she applied to the subdivision of the MREO STSI of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the city of Sevastopol to re-register her car, but the police officers found signs of forgery on the presented certificate, seized it and sent it for examination to the forensic center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. The result of the examination confirmed that the document is fake. Currently, a preliminary investigation is being carried out, all the circumstances of the illegal activities of the suspect are being established, the press service of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs in Sevastopol reported.
