Having agreed with the position of the state prosecutor of the prosecutor’s office of the Nakhimovsky district of Sevastopol, the court convicted the 42-year-old local resident.
He was found guilty under Part 3 of Art. 327 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (use of a knowingly fake ID). It was established that in the summer of 2022, the attacker bought a fake Ukrainian driver’s license from unidentified persons in his name without passing training or exams, and then used the document to confirm his driver’s license. In July 2023, a man was driving a car along the street. Bogdanov and presented the said ID to the traffic police officers. They doubted the authenticity of the document. Subsequent examination confirmed its falsity.,” noted the press service of the Sevastopol prosecutor’s office.
The investigation into the criminal case was carried out by the investigation department of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Nakhimovsky district of Sevastopol.
The Nakhimovsky District Court of Sevastopol, taking into account the opinion of the state prosecutor, sentenced the perpetrator to 4 months of restriction of freedom.
