Farewell to youth, or where “mef” leads. An instructive story from the court of Simferopol

9 years in prison is no joke.
In Simferopol, a local resident was sentenced to 9 years in prison for attempting to sell a synthetic drug. The 21-year-old guy was found guilty under Part 3 of Art. 30, paragraph “d”, part 4, art. 228.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (attempted sale of a narcotic drug on a large scale using the Internet).
It was established that the convict became a member of a criminal group engaged in the illegal sale of narcotic drugs in the territory of the Republic of Crimea via the Internet. In January of this year, the man received a wholesale batch of the narcotic drug N-methylephedrone weighing more than 3 g, which was packaged in 5 packages for further sale. The convict placed this narcotic drug in 5 hiding places, but was unable to complete his criminal intent, since he was detained by internal affairs officers,” the prosecutor’s office provided details.
The court, taking into account the position of the state prosecutor, sentenced the man to 9 years in prison. The convict will serve his sentence in a maximum security correctional colony. The court verdict did not enter into legal force
