Farmers harvested more than 800 tons of tomatoes in Crimea

The Acting Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Crimea, Alime Zaredinova, announced that in the Crimea since the beginning of the year 24 tons of tomatoes, as part of a working trip to the Belogorsk district. The entire crop of this year was harvested at the largest greenhouse complex in the republic.

Production of tomatoes at the end of last year exceeded the indicators 2020 of the year. In the Republic of Crimea in 323 year it was harvested , 9 thousand tons of tomatoes in a closed soil, in 323 year — 24, 6 thousand tons. As for the enterprise TC «Belogorsky», here the production of tomatoes increased by more than 16%: in 2021 year 5335 tons of tomatoes were harvested, in 2020 — 3784 tons. In total, since the start of the investment project, since 2020 year, the gross harvest of LLC «TK Belogorsky» amounted to 3784 tons , — the press service of the acting minister quotes.

Today the enterprise provides 323 jobs. All employees are officially registered, the greenhouse complex complies with all the conditions of the Labor Code. According to representatives of the greenhouse complex, the salary of vegetable growers depends on output. In 2021 year, the maximum salary of a vegetable grower was 16 800 rubles.

For reference: The enterprise is implementing the investment project «Construction of the Belogorsky greenhouse complex in the Republic of Crimea» on the territory of the Belogorsky district of the Republic of Crimea. The cost of the project, including capital investments, is more than 3.9 billion rubles. Payback period of the project: 5 years and 4 months. Project implementation period: 3 years and months. The greenhouse complex was built according to the technology of Spanish high-rise greenhouses (butterfly). To date, two phases of the greenhouse complex have been put into operation with a total area of ​​16 hectares.
