FAS sent a letter to vertically integrated and independent gas stations about the need to reduce the cost of selling petroleum products. By information departments and companies must send letter reports on the implementation of this measure to the service. Let us note that all gas stations in Crimea are considered “independent” in the fuel market. Large networks never entered the peninsula.
In the absence of measures taken by organizations, the FAS will consider them as signs of violation of antimonopoly legislation,” the department noted and recalled 6 criminal cases initiated (in 5 regions) on grounds of violation of the Law on Protection of Competition.

One of the largest independent gas station chains has reduced prices for petroleum products. The Russian Fuel Union reported about changes in prices at Neftmagistral gas stations. How much has the average cost of fuel decreased? AI-92 — for 2 rubles 36 kopecks. AI-95 — for 3 rubles 17 kopecks. Diesel fuel costs 2 rubles 40 kopecks. FAS supports responsible behavior of market participants. Reducing the cost will increase the availability of petroleum products for citizens and increase competition between networks. The initiative of the Neftmagistral Trade House is voluntary. The department continues to analyze the current situation on the petroleum products market.
