Employees of the State Traffic Inspectorate are conducting an investigation into a fatal accident in the Bakhchisarai region of Crimea. The 53-year-old driver of the Zhiguli was killed. The accident occurred this morning at 9:40 at the exit from the Tavrida highway to Novopavlovka.
The driver, born in 1971, driving a VAZ 2106 car, moving from Simferopol towards Sevastopol, allowed him to enter the oncoming lane, where he collided with a Ford Fusion car driven by the driver, born in 1993. As a result of a traffic accident, the driver of a VAZ 2106 was fatally injured. A minor passenger in a Ford Fusion was injured and was taken to a medical facility.— reported the traffic police.
Employees of the State Traffic Inspectorate of the Bakhchisarai region and an investigative team are working at the scene of the incident. The circumstances of the accident are currently being established and an investigation is underway.
