The minor passenger is in hospital.
The State Traffic Safety Inspectorate is investigating a fatal accident in the Leninsky District of Crimea. The accident, which claimed the life of a 47-year-old motorcycle driver, occurred the previous evening at 20:20 on the 20th km of the Tavrida Highway — Zolotoe highway.
The driver, born in 1977, driving a GEON motorcycle, moving from the village of Novootradnoye in the direction of the village of Zolotoe, did not choose a safe speed, lost control, as a result of which he drove off the roadway to the right and then overturned.
As a result of the accident, the motorcycle driver was fatally injured. The minor passenger of the vehicle, born in 2015, was hospitalized with bodily injuries of varying severity.— the State Traffic Safety Inspectorate reported.
The employees of the State Traffic Inspectorate of the Leninsky District worked at the scene of the accident. The circumstances of the accident are currently being established and an investigation is underway. The investigation into the accident has been taken under control by the Prosecutor’s Office of the Republic of Crimea.
