The State Traffic Inspectorate is conducting an investigation into an accident in Simferopol, which resulted in the death of a pedestrian. The tragedy occurred the night before at 10:10 pm on the Simferopol bypass highway.
Driver, born in 1958, driving a LIAZ bus, moving from the street. Kuibyshev in the direction of the Borodino ring, along the Eastern bypass of Simferopol, allowed a collision with a pedestrian who was crossing the roadway from right to left in the direction of travel of the vehicle outside the designated place. As a result of the accident, the pedestrian was fatally injured, the identity of the man has not been established. At the time of the accident the bus was traveling without passengers— reported the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Crimea.
An investigation is underway to determine the circumstances of the incident.
