Fatal accident in the Belogorsk region of Crimea: exit to the «oncoming lane» and head-on collision

This morning (at 6:40) on the Belogorsk-Mezhgorye highway, near the village of Balki in the Belogorsk district, an accident occurred in which one person died and three more were seriously injured.

The driver of the car «Volkswagen», moving from the side with. Beams in the direction of Belogorsk, made an exit into the oncoming lane, where he collided with a VAZ 2104 car moving in the opposite direction, driven by a driver born in 1980. As a result of an accident, a 22-year-old driver of a foreign car was fatally injured, two passengers of the Volkswagen (male, born in 2000 and 1980) and the driver of a VAZ car were injured— reported in the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Republic of Crimea.

The injured have been hospitalized. Police officers are on the scene and the circumstances of the incident are being investigated.
